The WOAA pilot program for REP hockey begins next season, 2025-26. Zone 3 will be the Midwest 49ers and includes Saugeen Valley, Walkerton and South-Bruce. All Rep hockey in the WOAA, (U10-U18) will be offered through the zones. Local League teams will remain in your current minor hockey association.
The Midwest 49ers will host the following teams:
U10A, U11A, U11B
U12A, U13A, U13B
U14A, U15A, U15B
U16A, U18A, U18B
Tryouts are tentatively set to run the first two weeks of May, and pre-skates the previous week.
Cost will depend on the number of participants but is expected to be around $50 for 3 pre-skates and $75 - $100 for tryouts. Players are not required to attend pre-skates. Players trying out for U14 will have to complete a body checking clinic.
